Mandatory Meeting for Spain Trip
¡HOLA!
There is a mandatory meeting Monday March 1st for band members traveling to Spain and at least one of their parents.
Meet in the HS auditorium at 7:00pm.
Mr. Koehlmoos and a Macy's Travel rep have a lot of information to share.
At the meeting travelers will receive their fabulous
"La Banda de La Escuela de Prior Lake" shirt to wear on departure day.
Lanyard passport holders will be distributed at the last rehearsal when the uniforms are issued for packing.

LAKER PEP BAND on ICE...
Well, not exactly on the ice but next to the ice.
Earlier this month the pep band performed at
a girls hockey game at Dakotah! Ice Arena.

Concert tonight,tomorrow and next Monday too
The 10th - 12th grade Indoor Marching Concert is Monday November 16 at 7:30 PM in the HS auditorium. The group yearbook pictures for Varsity Jazz Band, Pep Band and the Color Guard will be at 6:30 in the commons area. The Marching Band photo will be immediately following the concert in the Gold gym. Optional individual and buddy photos will be taken before and after the concert tonight.
The 9th grade Indoor Marching Concert is Tuesday November 17 at 7:30 PM in the HS auditorium. The group yearbook picture for JV Jazz and the two 9th grade bands combined will be taken immediately following the concert in the Gold gym. Optional individual and buddy photos will be taken after the concert.
The 10th - 12th grade Fall Concert Band performance is Monday November 23 at 7:30 PM in the HS auditorium. Their group picture for the yearbook will be taken in the Gold gym immediately following the concert. Optional individual and buddy pictures will be taken after the group photo.
Order forms for pictures are available in the bandroom.
Stay tuned for pictures and video clips from the three fall performances to be posted soon.

Band News
Hey Band Fans!
Pancake breakfast tickets are being sent out this week.
Watch for the mailing with all the info.
In case you haven't heard, the current fund raiser for the upcoming Spain trip is still in full swing. The Band is offering a book of gift certificates to local merchants. For $30 you receive a check book containing over $650 in gift checks to area businesses. After redeeming for example the $20 to Bonfire and
the $10 to Namesake Embroidery (Laker Store),
the book has paid for itself and the rest is FREE!
It makes a great gift, see your favorite traveling band student to get one today, supplies are limited (meaning they are dwindling down and when this last batch is gone, they're gone).
