Thank you Thank you Thank you!

Thank you to all who came out on a chilly Sunday morning to attend the Pancake Breakfast and support the Band. Official numbers are not in yet but attendance was steady and by all appearances, the annual fundraiser was once again a success.

The atmosphere was festive between the holiday decorations at the VFW and the music performed by the two jazz bands. Thanks to Mr K and Ms K for their awesome and dedicated direction of the jazz ensembles.

Thank you to all the parent and student volunteers who greeted, served, set-up, bussed, and helped throughout the morning. A big thank you to the Prior Lake VFW. Special thanks to Carolyn, April and Renee from the Booster Executive Board for all their hard work to pull everything together.

Coming Soon: lots of pictures and video clips from the Pancake Breakfast. Due to a life beyond being a band groupie, the Holidays, being under the weather and two college boys coming home, posting of the aforementioned has been a bit delayed. Also still needing to be posted, video clips from the Fall Concert Band performance.

Pancakes and Jazz!

Coming this Sunday,

the annual Band Pancake Breakfast fundraiser.

I am thinking it is the 26th or 27th year for this event,
wow, that's a lot of pancakes over the years...

Sunday December 7th
8:30 AM - 12:30 PM
Prior Lake VFW

Performances:
JV Jazz Band at 9:00
and
Varsity Jazz Band at 10:30

So, come have some breakfast,
enjoy some jazz,
support the band!

Band Sweatshirts

For those who ordered the Laker Band sweatshirts, we had hoped the orders would be ready by the upcoming pancake breakfast but with the late November concert and the Thanksgiving break, the sweatshirts will not be delivered until December 11th at the earliest.

Sweatshirts will be sent home with your students unless they were labeled as a gift, then you'll get a call so we can arrange the secret delivery.

Caught Dave and Mr K in the light booth at the 9th grade concert. Mr K announced from behind the scenes while Ms K directed the ranks on the stage.


Dave once again did an awesome job with the lights from the blue and gold PLs on the walls to the multi-colored washes on the backdrop. He always provides the perfect settings for the performances, thank you, Dave!
