Today the band marched in downtown Shanghai. I don't think anyone expected the unbelievable venue where the band found themselves performing this morning. They marched about a quarter mile from the buses to a staging area complete with two jumbo-tron screens flanking the band. They marched down a road similar to the Nicollet Mall in Minneapolis. It was an exhilarating experience and the kids played their pieces the best they ever have! It was awesome!
